DSAT Tec , Trimix, technical diving courses provide the techniques and procedures necessary for diving beyond
recreational dive limits.
These are some of the most intensive, yet exhilarating, courses you'll find.

Technical diving isn't for everyone but if this type of diving appeals to you and you're willing
to accept the increased risks, responsibilities and obligations, you'll find it one of the most rewarding dive
experiences you'll ever have.

Tec 40 Course
Is the first subdivision of the full PADI Tec 50. Use decompression software and dive computers to plan and carry out decompression dives with no more than 10 minutes of decompression stops and dives not deeper than 40 meters. Using a single main cylinder/regulator, with an attached pony cylinder/regulator, and a side slung decompression gas supply if needed. The decompression gas can be up to 50% oxygen (EANx50)

Prerequisites for Tec 40
PADI Advanced Open water diver
Be a PADI Deep Speciality diver
Be a PADI Enriched Air diver
Have a minimum of 30 logged dives, of which at least
10 dives must be on enriched air deeper than 18 metres, 10 dives must be deeper than 30 metres
Have a dive medical signed by a physician

Tec 45 Course
The Tec 45 course picks up where Tec 40 leaves off and takes your training as a Tec diver further and deeper. You will learn the skills and equipment and planning needed to make non limited decompression dives to a maximum of 45 metres. You will acquire the knowledge to plan and execute decompression dives using twin set cylinders, a single stage decompression gas cylinder of Enriched air or 100% oxygen to accelerate the decompression stops

Prerequisites for Tec 45
PADI Tec 40 certification plus rescue diver cert plus CPR in last 2 years
50 logged dives with 12 dives were made with enriched air deeper than 18 metres, 6 dives were deeper than 30 metres, Have a dive medical signed by a physician

Tec 50 Course
This course completes your training as an entry-level Tec diver taking you past the limits of recreational diving. During your training you will make decompression dives to 50 metres. You will be using Twin set cylinders, multiple enriched air gases and or 100% oxygen in multiple side slung cylinders for non limited decompression, and use desk top decompression software to create dive tables and plan your dives.

Prerequisites for Tec 50
PADI TEC 45 certification
have a minimum of 100 logged dives of which 20 must be enriched air dives, and at least 15 dives must be deeper than 30 metres
Minimum age: 18 years old, Have a dive medical signed by a physician
