The club was formed by Andy Willett in 1997 and is open to all divers,
It is run, so divers can have a forum to meet,
The club is friendly and quite relaxed with almost as many female divers as male. It is no longer the male dominated sport it once was, and we have quite a few families who have learnt to dive together.
We dive regularly in the summer months, and try to get in at least one midweek dive from a local beach every week and also often midweek boat dives.
We regularly boat dive on weekends and if this is not possible then we often beach dive instead.
When the nights draw in at the end of the summer, then it becomes the night dive season, where we like to explore the vast array of wildlife that emerge in our waters in the dark.
We can hire out full dive kit if you are a bit short or still finding your way. There is no charge when we go diving; long as you have your own kit all you need to get, is your air fills.(from local dives shops).
We generally like to dive wrecks up to the 30 metre depth range as we can get maximum dive time and not so much preparation is needed.
We also do dive deeper wrecks if one calls for it, but obviously this will depend on the level of qualification you obtain.
We meet for a drink regularly and put the world to rights.
We can offer a whole range of further PADI courses if you wish to extend your dive skills etc.
We have a Facebook page for club members where you can discuss thoughts, opinions and plans.
We are agents for Blue O Two dive holidays and
Regal Dive holidays
